Chilliwack Garden Club

Welcome!

The Chilliwack Garden Club has encouraged gardening in our community since 1946. We host monthly meetings that include a guest speaker, a grow and show table where members bring in flowers, plants or floral arrangements, draws, and of course socializing over refreshments!

We also organize garden tours and host an annual Plant Sale in the spring, and a perennial exchange and seed swap in October. Beginner or experienced gardeners are welcome!

It's looking like a busy year ahead! This month we have planned a Workshop on winter sowing. If you haven't tried winter sowing yet it is a great way to get started sowing seeds with minimal fuss! No lights, no heat mats - just leave the containers out in the elements to act as mini greenhouses. As spring approaches, light and heat increase and germination is triggered.

Guests are welcome but bring your own milk jugs. No charge for the first time, $5 drop-in fee for subsequent meetings. The annual membership fee is $25 per person / $30 per family

Our meetings are usually held on the 2nd Wed. of each month at 7:00 pm (except January, July and August) at:

Cooke’s Presbyterian Church

Chilliwack, BC

(in Singleton Hall, at the back of the Church)

Guests are welcome! No charge for the first time,

$5 drop-in fee for subsequent meetings.
